e-Dialog is a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Central London working with big brand names. British Airways, Hewlett Packard, Boots are just a few of our clients. We are looking for a designer who is speedy and excellent. You enjoy the challenge of creating a new concept (or two or three) everyday. You are equally comfortable with building templates and filling them out. In short, you design for the medium. You are super creative, hands-on, talented, motivated, and a little (or a lot) geeky. You understand the importance of design and good clean HTML.

We are looking for someone who's quick, detailed oriented and knows what it takes
to produce effective online communication that looks good. It's not just designing the piece – it is building it and making it work within the medium and our proprietary systems. You can work to deadlines, and you proactively solve problems and troubleshoot.

This is NOT a position for programmers with limited design skills -
we are looking for skilled designers with excellent HTML skills.


Responsibilities:


Strong HTML/CSS design skills
Ability to design, develop and implement a variety of HTML e-mail and web-based marketing deliverables
A good understand of design fundamentals, such as type, color, layout and imagery creation/optimization
An understanding of and ability in animation, illustration, presentation, and publishing applications (DreamWeaver, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Acrobat, Powerpoint, InDesign, etc.)

Skills:


Preferred 1-3 + years of experience – agency or design studio a plus
Strong intuitive…problem solving skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Proven expertise within a broad range of web-based design/development tools (see below for specifics)
Some experience creating online marketing solutions for clients - working from initial briefs, thru brainstorming and concept sketches to final developed or executed pieces
Strong knowledge and understanding of HTML, capabilities of browsers and other user-centered design constraints within the web & e-mail environments
Ability to deliver timely visual design concepts/prototypes/solutions on schedule and within budget
Proven ability to create and maintain positive team relationships with co-workers, internal clients, and others is essential
Sense of humor, excellent communication/people skills, and exceptional work ethic will earn our respect
