Job Description

Work as part of a team of engineers to design, develop and implement highly scalable and reliable enterprise n-tier distributed systems. You will contribute to the design and development of our enterprise class email technology platform. You will contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle.


Position Details:


Work as a member of a team responsible for the design and implementation of a high performance, mission critical email transport system
Develop innovative tools and utilities for deploying and supporting mission critical software
Work from product requirements specifications to produce detailed functional and technical specifications
Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development methodologies and processes

Position Experience:


BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required
3-5 years of experience and expertise with the UNIX command line environment including UNIX text processing tools
3-5 years of experience developing with Perl on a UNIX platform. Experience should include OOP, CPAN and fluency of regular expressions
Working knowledge of relational databases
(Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL)
Strong understanding of Internet and email architectures.
Web Servers, XML and Web Services experience also required
PHP experience a bonus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
