Director of e-Media & Privacy/ISP Relations
Rick joined e-Dialog in May, 2000, as the Director of e-Media expanding the company’s service offerings to include media planning and data acquisition & enhancement. In 2002 Rick took on the role of Director Privacy/ISP Relations working with our clients, ISP’s and privacy organizations to promote best practices in responsible e-mail marketing.
Rick brings over 20 years of experience in acquisition strategy, database management, and internet marketing. Prior to joining e-Dialog, Rick spent four years at Harte-Hanks as Vice President, Business Lists & Data. While at Harte-Hanks he was a member of the DMA Privacy Promise committee. Rick began his career in Direct Marketing at CMGI where he had an active role in the explosive growth of CMGI from small direct marketing company to a cutting edge internet incubator organization. During his 12 year tenure at CMGI, Rick launched and ran ListLine, a list brokerage & management firm and was integrally involved in the early stages of many of CMGI’s start-up companies.
Outside of work Rick enjoys family time with his wife and children, is an avid biker, and struggling but committed golfer.
Rick is a graduate of the University of Buffalo where he received a B.S. in Organizational Communication.
