Due to rapid UK expansion, our Professional Services Team is looking for Project Managers to work with leading organisations such as Tesco, Royal Bank of Scotland, British Airways, Boots, HP and Dell  to achieve strong business results through e-mail marketing. 

Our Professional Services Team work directly with our clients and who also liaise internally with our Creative, Production, Analytics and Engineering Teams on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities will include:

Project Management.

  • Work across Account Teams to effectively assess projects and determine appropriate management and roles and responsibilities, given project complexity and resource availability.
  • For assigned tasks, manage projects through implementation resources, ensuring appropriate standards of quality and timeliness. Management tasks include:
    • Gather business requirements from different sources and conceptualize into working technical requirements
    • Scope and identify project schedules, resources and stakeholders. 
    • Undertake final QA on assigned projects.
    • Schedule development, approval and proofing of projects and ensuring these schedules are communicated and adhered to.
    • Maintain work in progress against project plans, budget and scope.
  • Provide technical recommendations and best practices around email marketing workflow/operations
  • Maintain and build on current knowledge on emerging internet and email technologies and deliverability/ISP issues.  Proactively grow knowledge of e-Dialog tools
  • Communication:
  • Build a wealth of knowledge on the technical requirements for e-mail and be able to communicate requirements effectively to clients and e-Dialog staff.
  • Internally progress requirements to data, engineering, analysts, creative and production specialists.
  • Report and advise the Account Team on project progress, identifying in advance any potential issues and recommended solutions.
  • Manage relevant project status meetings. Document meetings as required, distributing notes to client and e-Dialog Account Team.
  • When necessary, train clients on e-Dialog tools.

The ideal candidate:
  • Degree qualified, preferably with IT experience and project management qualifications.
  • 1-3 years experience in an agency, email and/or direct marketing environment.
  • Must have had responsibility and ownership of technical projects and be able to articulate reasons for success/failure and strategies to improve future results.

  • Good problem-solving skills, highly effective at task management and a willingness to get the job done.

Note: This is not a manager of staff position.  Production Project Managers at e-Dialog are responsible for managing web, data, analytic and creative projects through our organisation.
