Job Description
With a technology and services platform like no other
e-mail service provider, e-Dialog enables companies to efficiently turn their complex customer data into actionable results by producing highly customized and relevant e-marketing campaigns that attain unbeatable ROI. Work with strongly-branded clients as a Campaign Developer. This is a fast-paced, production oriented environment where creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills lead to success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate & efficient development of data-driven, dynamic e-mail campaigns from client or internal supplied assets.
- Follow, and continually develop & revise coding guidelines to render content in a wide range of popular e-mail clients (Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) with maximum compatibility.
- Utilize the company's cutting edge campaign management tools and support the training of clients & other employees in their use.
- Work with account services to optimize production workflow & improve service efficiencies.
- Ad-hoc solution development & support using PHP, ColdFusion or other scripting languages as needed.
- Write clear & concise documentation to support cross-training efforts across the team.
Experience:
-
1-2 years of web programming or comparable Freelance/Hobbyist experience (please have a web portfolio or site examples available)
- Exposure to development concepts of data-driven web-based applications
Skills:
- Proficiency in hand-coding clean HTML layouts using traditional nested table structures as well as CSS styling techniques.
- Understanding of scripting principles (ColdFusion, PHP, JSP, ASP, Perl development experience is a plus)
- Understanding of database principles (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server development experience is a plus)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work independently.
- Strict attention to detail and a passion for quality. Gets the job done right.
- Proactive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Approach problems and offer solutions that increase both the accuracy and efficiency of the product.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field.
